Irons
The 4-iron is usually the liar. The 6-iron is the witness.
Iron work on South Main is the core of the mill. We do not skip a club because it 'looks close enough' on a mat.
A typical Akron set has a 4-iron that still toes in from a 1998 flattening and a 7-iron that was left alone. The gap between those two is where shots disappear into the left trees on Cascade Valley.
We heat, we bend, we paint. Then we make the player hit the 4, the 5, and the 6 in that order without looking at the paint. The floor tells the truth the player will not.
Hybrids wait
If the 4-iron is leaving the set, the hybrid is a later page. Do not mix the jobs.
